As I've mentioned before, Jimmy is planning a revamp of the site, adding in new features etc.

I thought I'd ask you guys what you would like to see on the forums!

I shall start.

I'd like to be able to post pictures
I'd like to be able to post in different fonts, colours and text size
I'd like more smileys!
I'd like to have the option of an Avatar and a Signature


Please add your own, but keep it clean lol.

Ooh and I'd like some the amount of posts displayed at the side/on top and different groups for them too... I now what I mean lol

change of colour on a whole would be nice, but not in your face colours though.

perhaps the removal of the top referal thing would be good, as that seems to be out dated history etc.

yep i think if you think i freebie is not working you need to really make sure before hitting the button !! as it makes alot of work for the admins to go through if there is nothing wrong

I notice there is a lot of repeats when order free stuff. For example the free diy repair London kit is repeart and so is the lenor website. It might be a good idea when refusbshing this website to give uptodate free stuff and get rid of repearts.

Sorry, but I think repeats are great for those have just joined recently or for those that missed them 1st time round.
Also some freebies let you order more than 1 if it's been a while since you last ordered!

it also might be a good idea to have more opitons of text fonts and a bigger comment box when people write any comments.

i think that pics would be brilliant and i like the pm idea too for those times that you cannot be on the site as often as you would like.
i know of the "report broken " but i feel that a more active reporting of bad freebies might be better an also highlight the comments a bit more as they are really useful to read before potentially wasting time on a poor freebie.

Good suggestion as it means it is a sight that people with special needs can use easily.

I'd really like it if we could edit our posts, I hate it when you click 'post' then spot a typo that makes it a totally different message

I would like an edit button for your posts. Plus more fonts and colours.
When you use the 'back to the list of threads' bit at the bottom the threads list in a random order, would be nice if they went into the 'normal' order.
Also, maybe a points scoring system for people sending in freebies, the monthly winner gets one of Jimmys special prizes (a pen )

The broken link button works, once you click it it does not delete the freebie. It sends a message, then one of the admins go in and check it then delete it if needed.
Feel free to let me know which freebies you have reported broken which havent been removed???

i dont think there is any need for the caps ! and i dont think people mind paying a small amount of postage if they are going to get a good freebie , well i know i dont and its your choice if you apply for them or not , if you only want free things , only aply for the free ones

Any freebies that need postage paying are made obvious on their descriptions, if you dont want to pay for postage read the description and DONT CLICK ON IT. Simple.
As for a seach button, try at the top of the page, bang in the middle.

I reckon no name is from a rival free website as she seems to find everything on zfreebies annoying or naff.
You can exercise your right to CHOOSE which freebies or freebies with p&p you want so if you are too mean minded to pay a small amount for p&p for something, just don't apply for it, as Marie says, not everything in lie is free!

well i agree with the ... PM's, photos, editing of posts we have made, and to also be able to comment on other peoples posts sounds like a fab idea, like an 'agree / disagree' button for example! and having more than one page for threads, have for example 50 posts on each page in a thread... (",)

oh i forgot to say, im also liking the idea off different fonts ect, make it a bit more personal to each user that way

We could have a section for reviewing the freebies we recieve, so others can see how good they are, speed of delivery etc. in more detail than we do at the minute. Sort of like a scoring system.
I actually love this site as it is, and dont think anything really needs to change. Keep up the great work

Hmm, everything that you have suggested is possible with an Invisionfree or a Zetaboard forum (which are free), there are many different features, skins, and everything that you could use. There could be 1 group where the Admins post freebies, with pictures, different colours, etc. Then there could be more groups for submitting, chatting, or just general things. There is also a PM button, a report this post button, and an edit button for members. It can also easily be moderated. I have quite a bit experience in setting these up, and I do a bit of design work (logos, banners, etc). Oh, and you also have a post count, avatar, sig, and even HTML if you allow it. It could just take over from the forums, or even the whole site.

Inphoar - that lot means what in english, I ain't got a flipping clue lol.

An edit button would be useful tho and a dictionarything to say what all the abbrieviations mean.

It's still a great site, fun and friendly

what about a facebook page?

there is a link on face book already LadyH which most of us have joined in the groups section although it would be good to just click through from here sometimes.
